Regional Coordinator- Warren Blackwood, South West Development Commission

Deanna Giumelli has recently been appointed as the Regional Coordinator- Warren Blackwood by the South West Development Commission. Deanna has 10 years of experience in regional and community development working previously in both local government and state government as well as in the not for profit sector. The role of the Regional Coordinator- Warren Blackwood covers the Shire’s of Manjimup, Bridgetown, Boyup Brook and Nannup and aims to support social and economic development within the region by assisting the development of partnerships to support community and commercial initiatives, facilitating project development and by advocating for the regions issues at a strategic level. The Regional Coordinator is the first point of contact for the South West Development Commission in the Warren Blackwood but in addition to this person the South West Development Commission also has a team of staff that can assist with a range of issues including water and headworks funding, strategic planning, community engagement/consultation, land use, business development etc.
Office locations:
Monday: Shire of Boyup Brook Offices
Tuesday: Shire of Bridgetown Offices
Wednesday and Thursday: South West Development Commission Office, Gibblett Street Manjimup
Alternate Fridays: Nannup and Bunbury
