Notice of public advertisement to temporarily close a portion of the Right of Way, located between Bridge Street and Dickson Street, Boyup Brook
The Shire of Boyup Brook received a request from the Boyup Brook Co-operative Ltd to temporarily close a portion of the Right of Way (ROW), located between Bridge Street and Dickson Street.
The Boyup Brook Co-operative proposes to install temporary fencing and gates at either end of the section of ROW proposed for a period of 12 months and will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
The following diagram illustrates the area proposed for closure.
In accordance with section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, local government authorities may request the Minister for Lands to close a ROW. Before Council consideration on the matter, the local government wishes to seek comment from landholders adjoining the subject Right of Way and service authorities that may have infrastructure located within the ROW.
Comments on the proposed road closure (portion) may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before the 30 September 2024. Written submissions on the proposal may be posted to the Shire of Boyup Brook, PO Box 2, Boyup Brook WA 6244, or emailed to shire@boyupbrook.wa.gov.au.
