Part III Prevention of Bush Fires
Section 18 - Restricted Burning Period
Pursuant to Section 18 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the Shire of Boyup Brook advises the Restricted Burning Period will commence on Wednesday 9th October 2024 until Wednesday 20th November 2024 unless otherwise notified.
Permits will be required for burning during this period which can be obtained from your local Fire Control Officer. Contact details can be found in the Emergency Information and Bushfire Control 2024/2025 Booklet HERE.
