TALISON INVESTS $1.7 MILLION FOR NEW INCLUSIVE ALL-AGES PLAYGROUND AT SANDAKAN PARK
The Shire of Boyup Brook is proud to announce they will be partnering with Talison Lithium Pty Ltd to deliver a new all ages playground area at Sandakan Park in Boyup Brook. The partnership will see Talison invest $1.716 million dollars through the Talison Community Investment program (CIP) into the community-based project, providing a safe and accessible play space for all ages.
The Shire has remained committed to providing the community with the new playground, forming a working group in 2023. The new playground will replace the existing, aging playground which is no longer fit for purpose. The playground is the first phase in the redevelopment of Sandakan Park which will be transformed into a family friendly space, encouraging social connections and healthy lifestyles.
Sandakan Park is in walking distance to local cafes and shops and is a great open space for the local community, visitors and tourists to enjoy.
The Shire is delighted to be partnering with Talison and look forward to a strong and prosperous relationship into the future.
